This week like other week I read part of book and made it into a picture.
It was James and the giant peach by Roald Dahl.

We have been working on shapes.
The task was a bunch shapes and we had to show the faces edges and vertices.
The first goal was

Identify and sort 2D and 3D shapes into classes. Define the properties of the shapes and justify the decisions made.

Second goal is,

Relate 3D models to 2D representations.

For the second questions they asked for as many open box's this is C3w

Narrative Writing

Hello,

Today I am going to be showing you my writing for this week.

For this week I had to make a narrative writing.

My story is called Lost.

Its about the 3 friends and 1 went missing.

I am going to show you my plan and the start of my writing. 

It was a beautiful sunny night on the beach in California.

Will,Alex and Thomas were enjoying the sunset just talking,

When Will decides it's getting late and he is getting a bit tired so he heads home.

Alex and Thomas stayed for 30 more minutes and went home.

They decided to meet up tomorrow back at the beach at 10:30 in the morning.

Alex Thomas was curiois that Will would text or call back.

Alex and Thomas meet up down by the beach anyway talking about where he was.

After a couple of hours they thought they should go to his house and check on him.

When they got there they busted down the door and walked,checked everywhere and still couldn't find him.

Reading task

This week for reading we had to read 3 books and make DLO out of them.

The books I read,

Giannis antetokounmpo,Kevin Durant and Lighting McQueen book.

Today I am going to be showing you my reading task for this week.the book we are reading is,Wind Chimer By Paul Manson and the illustrations by Matt Tait.
This book is about the voids the voids are this army type of thing were they have ruled Nz.
The main characters in the book are Tre and Muse these guys are looking for Tre parents.

Now Im going to be showing the work I have been doing.
We were looking for the 3 key ideas and and the relationships
in the text.

But school started up again.

For writing  this  week we have taken a paragraph from our report and have taken words from and changed them.And have used the right punctuation for them.

The green is were the words have been change and there is better punctuation in it.

Papua New Guinea Reading Task

Hello,Welcome back to my blog today I'm going to be showing my reading task for this week.The Goal for this week was:Use prior knowledge to connect to the text.

  For reading we have been focusing on Caratias in Papua New Guinea.

You may be thinking what is Caratias?

Its a Catholic charity that help countries all over the world.

And now there helping Papua New Guinea.

They have been going through lots a climate change and more.

The sea levels have been rising and that's caused the coast lines to be destroyed.

Today I will be talking the treaty Waitangi task that we have done.
Waitangi day was a couple of weeks but today I'm making a blog on my google slide task.
We have been learning about all about the treaty and what it said.

2020!!!

Hey,
Welcome back to my blog.
Its been along time this my last post,that's because its been the holidays.
But now its time to come back to school.
My hopes for this new year are to do better in my math.
I have always struggled in math its hard subject for me,i'm hoping to be able to know all my division and some more multiplication.
Another thing I want to be better I want to become a better person all round.Nicer and just help more.


I'm looking forward to my year 8 leadership groups.
I want to have group in sport I think I would do good in that.

In holidays,I went to Nelson and Blenheim.
In Nelson I did a lot of swimming in the sea and I just a lot of fun.
At Blenheim its was really windy but nice,
The motel there had pool so that just made it so much better.
Also there was ww1 ww2 museum there it was really cool to see these old planes.
And half of them could still.
And just maybe 45 mins from there was Picton its was so nice there we found this little place with a nice beach access my brother and my dad went fishing,I went swimming in the sea and was jumping of the pontune.

I hope you enjoyed and i'm excited to sea what 2020 is.

Pool Day 2019!!!

Hello welcome back to blog today I am going to be telling you about the pool day.
Sadly I couldn't swim in the pool day I was out with a infection in my wrist.
The pool we go to is Waltham pool.It really fun pool place, with a hydra slide.
On the day we left at around 11:15 and left at about 2:30 it was really fun even though I could on get my legs in,but I was happy with that.
It was a nice day for swimming.
Even one of our teachers went done the hydra slide.

BFG Task

Hello welcome back to my blog today I will be telling you about task that I did from the summer learning journey.I did the BFG task what you had to do in the task to draw a picutre of the BFG and write some descripvie words about him

The BFG is a Giant.That refuses to eat children like the other Giants.

He is very patient and nice to others unlike the other giants.

He collects dreams and destroys the bad ones.

Ima prop I don't flop.

I don't play number 10 that's for my boy Ben.

I play rugby these people bug me.

Its the night 

The stars are bright 

Chilling in my bed lying there all night

I'm playing ball 

These kids aren't tall

I'm dunking on you all

I hoped you like them there kinda bad but I thought they were funny.
