Yes this problem seems daunting however everything is solvable so this is to.

I feel like this problem is very solvable, I really want to see change in the world with this.

I really feel like we can do this if we help people and countries.

Some of the ways we can help is by donating, creating more jobs and supporting pay equity.

There are so many more ways we can do this but If we start doing some of these we can help people in poverty.

Today I am  going to be talking to you about the math for this week.

The goal was,

Use multiplication and division strategies to compare fraction sizes with numbers.

The first question was:

Florence had party and organised to have pizzas delivered to her house,

she specifically asked the restaurant to cut the pizzas into eighths. She counted that she 36 pieces. How many pizzas did Florence purchase?

We thought It would be how many times that 8 goes into 36

We thought the answer would using the goal would be 4 1/2

Jermaine bought a whole of nerd ropes to share with his mates. He cut each rope sixths, he ended up with 41 pieces. How many ropes did he buy?

Again we thought it would be.

How many times 6 go into 41

witch is 6.

For math we were doing 2 way data.

For our create task we had to make our own 2 way date table.

I made mine on the hubs favorite sport.

This is my 2 way date table you can see what I have done and the percentages.

the favorite sport was rugby making 0.5 of people.

Have you ever done a 2 way date table before?

Collaboration

I have to collaborate with my rugby team every Saturday during our game.

One example would be during a scrum.

I am a front rower, this means in the scrum I am in the front row, either left or right side. The position is known as a prop.

We have two props and a hooker in the front row, the hooker is between the two props.

When we scrum we have to bind with the opposition, and when the referee makes the calls 'crouch, bind, set' we have to collaborate together as a front row to push the opposition off their ball or take control of our ball.

Communicator

What is a good communicator?

I think I am a good communicator, most of the time. 

Communication is about speaking and listening, you cannot just do one, you have to do both.

People also communicate with their hands, eyes, mouth and body. A person can be speaking nice words but if they are frowning or standing with their arms crossed it sends a different message.

We have to change the way we communicate depending on the type. Communicating on the phone is different to writing a text.
