You may be thinking what is Diana Isaac is it is a retirement village.I really enjoyed my visit because you can meet some really cool people.I Got partnered up with Velma,She was very funny.We played  Balloon sport,the game that we played was volleyball.

I really enjoyed my time there.

Something cool I learnt is,Boys from the age of fourteen did compulsory military tanning.

Stair to squares

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing a problem solving called stair to squares.

Its been really hard but in the end I got there and now I like to show you the video of me presenting the problem solving.

Welcome back to my blog.Today I will be telling you about the Week 5 bingo card.I know I am a bit late because it's week 8 but that's not the topic.The reason we did the bingo card Is we were sharing  our speech's.So that meant the timetable for week 5 had to change.In the middle there is math problem solving called stair's to squares (which I am trying get a blog out about).And there is the Carmen San Diego which was on google earth.And lots more

WINTER SPORT!!!!

This year and for the last couple of years I have been doing winter sport.
The sports that you can choose from are Rugby,Hockey,Netball and soccer.
For my winter sport I have being playing rugby, I have been really enjoying it.
 I play rugby for my club, Christchurch rugby club, I have been playing Rugby since I was 4 years old.
I already know the rules (weird flex but OK).For School rugby we have been playing rapid rugby at Hagley park.
Rapid rugby is a fairly new, there are no lineouts and scrums, are just taps for outs and penalty's and there only 10 people playing not 15.

Discrimination art.As you know for our PBL for term 2 is all about discrimination racism,sexism,ableism,religious discrimination

Breakout EDU!

Last my group did breakout EDU. What breakout EDU is an escape room.My Group broke out really quickly it was really fun.I enjoyed because it gave you a real challenge and your group had to really work together.And the story was linked into the stuff we were doing in term 1&2

Reading task

This week for reading I've been reading a book called DRUM ROLL PLEASE .............................. The Pink Umbrella ,by Lani Young.
Its a really good book about a boy called Sam who's Grandmother came to stay, Sam wasn't enjoying it because  his Grandmother wouldn't let him watch TV and instead of cold baked beans and burnt toast he would have Samoan food.The Goal that I have done is Identify several ideas, discuss the author's stance or purpose, and understand the relationships in text.

Teacher Strike

Last week the teachers went on strike.They went on strike because the work load is so big that they need more teachers.And they need a pay rise because they are payed by the government,its not like they are payed by a business who are forced to pay them more.They get by the government so there pay hasn't changed.And teachers leaving the industry after 5 years.
